Hello, I’m Dr. Messer.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, followed by a PhD in Nutrition Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. My research has primarily focused on bone and cell biology—areas where I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to multiple publications and share my work at scientific conferences.
Throughout my academic and research career, I’ve been fortunate to receive recognition from organizations such as the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research, as well as the UNCG School of Health and Human Services. These experiences have shaped my commitment to advancing scientific understanding and promoting health through rigorous, impactful research.
