Dr. Shabnam Namin, President

 Dr. Namin received her Bachelors and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Florida International University. In addition, she received an MBA and MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami and an MS in Biotechnology from Harvard University. During her early studies, Dr. Namin spent several years working in many different face

 Dr. Namin received her Bachelors and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Florida International University. In addition, she received an MBA and MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami and an MS in Biotechnology from Harvard University. During her early studies, Dr. Namin spent several years working in many different facets in the tissue engineering realm, focusing on the commercialization of cell and tissue-based products. She has multiple publications and patents for her work on the development of these therapies. She is currently the Chair of the Scientific & Technical Affairs Committee (STAC) for the American Association of Tissue Banks.

 Dr. Messer received his BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, and his PhD in Nutrition Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Dr. Messer’s research background is focused primarily in bone and cell biology, which resulted in multiple publications and conference presentations of his work. Additionally, Dr. Messer h

Dr. Messer’s research background is focused primarily in bone and cell biology, which resulted in multiple publications and conference presentations of his work. Additionally, Dr. Messer has been recognized for his excellence through the American Society of Bone and Mineral Research and UNCG School of Health and Human Services.

 Dr. Fedenko received her BS in Biological Engineering with minors in Nutrition and Biomechanics, and her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Florida where she went on to establish multiple models for cell and tissue culture, with emphasis on cartilage and synovium research. She was awarded graduate fellowships from the N

 Dr. Fedenko received her BS in Biological Engineering with minors in Nutrition and Biomechanics, and her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Florida where she went on to establish multiple models for cell and tissue culture, with emphasis on cartilage and synovium research. She was awarded graduate fellowships from the National Science Foundation, Institute for Cell and Tissue Science and Engineering, and the University of Florida Graduate School. Dr. Fedenko has been recognized for excellence through the Committee of 200, the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, Tau Beta Pi nationals, and the University of Florida.

 As Laboratory Manager, Hallie Sherouse oversees the R&D and GMP labs at 42Bio. Hallie is currently spearheading the magnetic research program and placental matrix production. With over five years of wet lab experience, she is a dedicated researcher with a passion for scientific processes and her growing business acumen. Hallie received h

With over five years of wet lab experience, she is a dedicated researcher with a passion for scientific processes and her growing business acumen. Hallie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Biotechnology in 2021 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at the University of West Florida
