FerroBio™ Consumable Kits for Isolation

Single-Use Kits Designed for Efficient, Closed-System Cord Blood Processing

To support each cell isolation run using the FerroBio™ system, operators utilize a dedicated Consumable Kit for Isolation. These kits are specifically engineered for one-time use in the isolation of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) from unmanipulated (non-centrifuged) cord blood units.

Each kit includes all the necessary sterile, single-use components required to perform one complete isolation cycle using the FerroBio™ hardware. This ensures a seamless workflow, maximum consistency between runs, and compliance with good laboratory practices.

Kit Contents

Each FerroBio™ Consumable Kit includes:

• Proprietary Isolation Cartridge
  Custom-designed to fit into the FerroBio™ Module, the cartridge houses the separation process and ensures optimal magnetic capture and fluid handling.

• Pre-Sterilized Tubing and Connectors
  Compatible with standard Luer fittings, designed for easy setup and minimal risk of contamination.

• Filtration and Fluid Transfer Components
  Integrated filters and waste capture materials that maintain a closed environment throughout the process.

• Reagent Blisters or Vials (optional, depending on kit version)
  For labs using standardized protocols, some kits include pre-filled reagents to reduce variability and improve speed.
