The FerroBio™ system is the first cell isolation system built explicitly for unmanipulated (non-centrifuged) cord blood. The standard hardware set comes with one Controller and one Module.
Controller with 1 Module: FB-1001
The Module of the FerroBio™ hardware houses our proprietary cell isolation chamber and a powerful magnet. Operators interface with the cell isolation chamber using standard Luer connections.
The FerroBio™ controller can run up to five CBUs in parallel to increase processing efficiency. Units can be purchased in bundles or as a single additional module.

Consumable Kits for Isolation
For each cell isolation process, operators use a consumable kit. Kits include all single-use consumables, including our isolation cartridge, required to process a cord blood unit.

The Blood Conditioner Stock contains a reagent added to the blood before bead binding steps. This Stock product includes a lyophilized powder.
This reagent can be used across multiple CBUs, depending on CBU volume.
Catalog #: FB-4002
The Bead Stock contains a suspension of paramagnetic beads for CD34+ cell isolation as well as a bead removal reagent. The beads bind the CD34 antigen of hematopoietic stem cells.
This reagent can be used across multiple CBUs, depending on starting cell count.
